GENOCIDE, RACISM AND HYPOCRICY MR DONALD J. TRUMP

U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s pronouncements on white genocide in South Africa are made without a single shred of evidence. Donald J. Trump has nothing to say about the genocide in Gaza, which has been declared by the reputable global institution called the International Criminal Court after South Africa launched the case against Israel. Donald J. Trump’s hypocrisy clearly indicates the racial divide between the global South and the global North in terms of human rights and diplomacy. The US president fails to acknowledge the existential threat to the lives of the people in Palestine. Genocide and human rights have colour in terms of Donald J. Trump if it is white people. It is not genocide if it is non white people.

Donald J. Trump must use his fake verbose voice on the white South African genocide, but ignore the lives of Palestinian children. Trump must use his fake, verbose voice against Israel’s genocide in Palestine. Human rights and dignity cannot be based on the racism of a white male, Donald J. Trump. What a moral decay and hypocrisy. Mr Trump is just like Mr Netanyahu, who is illiterate in terms of consciousness and the sanctity of innocent human life.

The historical narrative of the white colonialist since time immemorial has been the dehumanisation of non-whites and sanctified the white life. To call the oppression of Palestinians anything less than genocide is to strip their humanity and history of human value. Yet, when a white farmer or citizen experiences crime or economic loss, the alarm bells of “genocide” are sounded. The contrast exposes not just bias, but an enduring colonial mindset that measures pain through racial lenses.

The white hypocrisy from Donald J. Trump reflects on all European white political leaders, global news agencies and global organisations that normalise selective outrage. The white nations have learned nothing from the holocaust in German-occupied Serbia against the Jews, and in Rwanda against Tutsi’s. The white silence and hypocrisy are crimes of the Western White nations. True justice cannot be racialised, and it must be a universal right to life. Social justice, human rights and dignity must be universal to all of us.

It is a denial of justice not to stretch out a helping hand to the fallen; that is the common right of humanity.
