The Christians and the Christian footprint are reminiscent of colonial memory and subjugation by the White or European colonial masters. They are, in fact, empires of Christian colonial blood. These blood empires in Africa, Latin America, and Asia were established by colonisers walking alongside the Christian missionaries. This pattern has raised its ugly and venomous head in the current genocide in Palestine. This pure colonial Christian theology is in modern error. The gospel is being rewritten to improve white privileges, power, and white arrogance.
Christians must be characterised by churches that are blessed by hymns of redemption, compassion, and eternal love and life. Despite all these values, bombs are destroying Palestine and children are dying or starving under the rubble. The silence of Christians is louder than their prayers. This silence is a betrayal of the gospel truth, which stands for justice and compassion. The issue is not why Israel commits genocide; it is the silence of Christians and their refusal to call genocide a genocide. They are developing a complicit new theology of genocide and evil intent.
The ignorant current Christians fail to separate the old biblical Israel from the current Zionist and genocidal Israel. Political Zionism has hijacked the ancient covenant. Christians believe that supporting the killing of Palestinians is helping God. They, supporting Israel, feel like obeying God and criticising. Little do they know that they are supporting blasphemy, blasphemy, and turning Jesus Christ into the sword of the colonial white empire of blood. There is hope because authentic and original Christians call genocidal Israel what it is, without pretence. The liberation-centred theologians from all over the globe always remind us that God is not one of the blood-tainted empires; it is on the side of the downtrodden, poor, disposed, the maimed, bombed, and crucified.
CHRISTIAN MORAL AUTHORITY
Christians must have the courage to stand for what Christ stood for: healing, peace, love, redemption, and eternal life full of tranquillity and holiness. The Palestine genocide has put an evil and devilish stain on Christians who lack the courage to contend with the injustice of white colonial empires. They have tainted their preaching of peace without justice. A faithful Christian will call genocide a genocide, not self-defence. God and real Christian theologians will harshly judge Christians who fear to stand for the truth and speak out against genocide and ethnic cleansing.
